About Us
Introducing
Formally the Port Youth & Rec Foundation, we have updated our name to better align with the department’s new identity.
While our name has changed, our commitment to supporting the youth and recreational activities in our community remains stronger than ever!
Formed in 2016 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, our mission is to fundraise and advocate for the City of Newburyport’s Youth and Recreation Services.

Join Our Crew of Volunteers!
We’re always excited to welcome enthusiastic individuals who are ready to make a difference. Volunteering with us means becoming part of a supportive, mission-driven team that values your time, talent, and passion.
The events of the evening are always a surprise for our students. From 6pm until sunrise, the seniors will be transported to various venues, each with its own theme providing a range of activities and food. It allows the class to have one last night together to celebrate in a safe and engaging way.
